puppy. The voice on the phone may be calm, though questioning, relaxed but definite in
what the person is looking for in the training of their new puppy although not sure how to
go about getting desired results.
On the other hand, we also receive phone calls from the distraught parent of a new
puppy--or even the owner of an older dog. This caller has questions as well; but, also we
hear statements such as, 'We don't know what to do....', or, 'My husband wants to get rid
of this dog.....', or, 'This puppy is mean and is biting me hard!'
We, here at Hollowell Academy of Dog Training, are confident in our experience and
abilities to help you solve problems of pet ownership. We can help you train your dog to
be a good family member. We can teach you to train your dog so your home will remain a
pleasant environment for all, including that new puppy or the older adopted dog.
Like a child entering kindergarten, learning for a puppy or older dog is a longer experience
than just attending one class. We can give you more than just the basics in one of our
classes; but, it is important to continue the education of your dog in the follow-up
classes where both you and your dog will learn more advanced training. The advanced
classes will allow you to work with your dog as a team.....so that in social situations with
other people and other dogs you can both remain relaxed and confident.
Here at Hollowell we believe that DOGS can be fun members of any family! They can
contribute to the health, well-being; and, the goodwill of every person they meet!
And this is the reward for you, the owner: You will forever have a true friend who
asks no more of you than to share a roof with you, good food, good health, and most of
all, a hello and a friendly pat on the head!
